Not My Plans

Tomorrow is not what I had planned for my week. Hip surgery – yes, I am very young for this but when you are a klutz and have spent a lifetime tripping and falling, I guess it adds up to torn ligaments. That and a weird little bone malformation I was born with.

But God knew right where I’d be today.

He knows where I will be tomorrow.

Sometimes that’s not very comforting. It makes me angry – why couldn’t God have found a less painful path? One that did not require so much planning and resources and energy.

That’s faith, my friend.

Knowing His way is much better than our own!
