This girl!  She had been riding on the back of a friend’s motorcycle in the mountains of Colorado.  She was covered with mud and dirt and a little cold – and very happy!   She giggled and laughed as they dodged rocks and dove into mud puddles.  As her friend Marilyn says, “the dirtier you are, the happier you are!”

This week is flying by at record speed!

Last night, Ashley finished her Senior Project Board.  This morning, she will work on her presentation and this afternoon, she has Senior Pictures!  Okay, in fairness, I know this is crazy to do pictures this week.  The pictures were scheduled earlier in the month but with Illinois rain and then a cold virus, we had to postpone and this seemed like a good idea when I put it on the calendar.

Looking through pictures I am amazed at this child and her poise.  Her beauty comes from deep within; from a generous, loving soul.

In this craziness, I’m so glad I am taking time to look at pictures.  To remember.  To celebrate her and her gifts and her future.

Living intentionally requires us to be present in the moment, even when that moment is intentionally reflecting on the past and God’s goodness.
